How To: Build a folding wooden chair with your kids

I've been trying to find instructions &/or patterns to DIY simple, wooden, folding, kitchen chairs, online, but have come up sadly bereft of apt pics/vid & how-to. This vid of your simple folding chair looks quite easy. However, I need it to be long-legged enough for a kitchen chair height, to set up at a reg height kitchen table.

What length of leg would you recommend on your design to fit such a need?
